Miss Jessica Lehnhoff grew up in Missouri City and has lived in the Houston area for many years. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education and her Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas A&M University.  Miss Lehnhoff has experience in teaching as well as working for multiple parishes.  She is excited to work for Saint Theresa Catholic School and hopes to help grow the community and environment of the school through her work.

Miss Lehnhoff is a parishioner of The Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham and a steering committee member for Generation Vitae, a pro-life organization developed under the Houston Coalition for Life.  In her spare time, she delights in using her barista skills to enjoy a good cup of coffee, spending time with her two dogs, visiting friends and family, and growing deeper in the Catholic faith.  Her favorite saint is Saint Tekakwitha Kateri.

Jill Cantu

October 27, 2020

Mrs. Cantu attended the University of Texas where her passion for working with children and families led her to obtain her B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences. While at UT, she had the opportunity to work with children and adults of all ages in therapeutic clinics, early childhood development centers, and inpatient neuro rehab facilities.

After graduation, she worked in education as a Lead Teacher in an Early Head Start Program, and an English as a Second Language teacher to both children and adults. It was in these settings that she appreciated the value of an education and the vital role that teachers play.

With a desire to work with children and families in clinical setting, Mrs. Cantu earned her Associate’s in Nursing from Wharton County Junior College and her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. While in nursing school, she excelled in Community Nursing, Medical Surgical, Labor & Delivery, and Postpartum units. She precepted in a challenging Neuro ICU setting that shaped the way she viewed and provided care to her patients.

Mrs. Cantu is excited to be the School Nurse at Saint Theresa’s where her passion for education and nursing can be combined. With her education and work experience in various pediatric settings, she believes she can provide holistic and compassionate care to every Griffin student.

I am the Facility Coordinator for Saint Theresa Catholic School. I have been working for Saint Theresa Catholic School for twelve years now, and I enjoy it very much. I am a native Houstonian. I am also certified to handle fire and water damage as well as chemical treatments. I have a broad range of talents which I use to maintain the school building.

I love working for Saint Theresa Catholic School. I am very passionate about the safety and welfare of the children and faculty members. God calls all of us to serve, and I am very grateful to be serving at Saint Theresa Catholic School.

I am originally from Mexico City where I studied business management. After graduating, I worked in different companies and continued to study medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Mexico. During this period, I volunteered in public hospitals and nursing homes. I also graduated as a programmer. I’ve worked for several different private companies as well as for the Secretary of Public Education in Mexico City.

Soon after graduating, I met my husband, Juan Pablo. We were married and years later we had, Pablo, our only son. Finding Saint Theresa Catholic School has been a blessing for me and for my family. Pablo is a graduate of STCS. My husband and I chose Saint Theresa Catholic School because we wanted our son to continue his Catholic education and to help him to live our faith. It is here where we have found great support not only in religion and education, but also as a member of the community. I am so happy to be a member of the great family that is Saint Theresa’s.

Family values such as respect and love of God and neighbor are very important to my family and me, and we try to put it into practice in our home and with our family, friends, and in the community. That is why we are always willing to volunteer in the community of Saint Theresa Catholic Church as well as in school activities.  I have participated in the STCS International Day and the Saint Theresa Church Bazaar. I am also a member of the STCC ACTS group. I am very pleased and grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to work here at the school.

Mrs. Grimsley moved to Sugar Land with her family from Aroma Park, Illinois in 2015.  Mrs. Grimsley attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois and worked in the health insurance industry for several years before substitute teaching in the PreK 3 classroom at her children’s Catholic School, Aquinas Catholic Academy.  She loved working at the school so much that she shifted careers and has worked at a Catholic School as a teachers’ aide or administrative assistant since 2010.

Mrs. Grimsley married her husband, Michael, in 1996 and together they have three children.  She loves working at Saint Theresa Catholic School and in her free time enjoys reading, knitting, and photography.

A native Texan, I am a product of Catholic education.  I attended Saint Margaret Mary Parish School and earned my undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and in Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. I was later awarded the Master of Arts in Education from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio.

I have had the privilege of working in Catholic schools, non-profits, and city social service agencies throughout my career.  These experiences have allowed me to further develop my skills in data procurement & analysis, grants management, & non-profit finances.  I look forward to collaborating with all of the STCS community–families, faculty, staff, parishioners, and alumni–as we work toward the continuing growth of our beloved school.
