STCS STUDENTS SHINE IN SACRED POETRY CONTEST

Congratulations to STCS students Nikita D., Abigail P., and Samantha C. for their outstanding performances in the 2023 Archdiocesan Middle School Sacred Poetry Contest. Nikita and Abigail won 2nd Place honors in their grade categories. Samantha placed 1st in her grade category and was also named the 2023 Poet Laureate among all 800 entries. The contest is sponsored in collaboration with Catholic Literary Arts, an organization whose mission is to encourage ongoing growth in literary, artistic, and spiritual development of artists and writers so that the Cultural Patrimony and rich treasures of the Catholic Church may be more perfectly explored and used to draw all peoples to God. STCS STUDENT WINS INTERNATIONAL WRITING CONTEST
Congratulations to STCS 8th Grader, Samantha Court, who won the Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Samantha won First Place at the Council Level, the District Level, the Archdiocesan Level, the State Level, and finally the International Level which encompasses all Knights of Columbus councils around the world.
