Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Ms. Jaclyn Gamez moved to the Houston/Katy area in 2016. She obtained an Associate of Science from Northwest Vista College and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently attending the University of Texas Medical Branch pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her call to service has come in many forms over the past eleven years serving many populations from neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Ms. Gamez’s experiences working in occupational health, school nursing, emergency management, home health, hospice, and labor & delivery helped her find her true calling and passion to work with children. It has been rewarding to see them grow and emerge as strong and healthy individuals to be successful, function, and play a vital role in society.
Ms. Gamez has two beautiful children and is delighted they will be attending STCS. Her family feels blessed to embark on a new faithful journey to become a part of the STCS family. Being of Catholic faith, Ms. Gamez is passionate to work at STCS to not only provide compassionate care to the children and staff, but to be her best-self as a nurse and healer, with the intent to serve the Lord and our faith-based school community.
