Contact the school office for more information about the 2022-2023 school year.
School begins promptly at 8:00 a.m., with morning announcements beginning at 7:55 a.m. Students must arrive at school between 7:40 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. Reminder, students should not be dropped off at the front door without an accompanying adult. If dropping students off in carpool, please keep students in the car until an adult opens the car door for them. This applies to EVERY student from PreK through 8th grade. Students who arrive after announcements are considered tardy.
Dismissal times are as follows:
PreK – 2nd grade at 3:25 p.m.
3rd – 5th grade at 3:40 p.m.
6th – 8th grade at 4:00 p.m.
If a family has multiple children who release at different times, all children may be picked up at the release time of the oldest child. However, if a family does not have a child or children in older grade levels then students must be picked up at their dismissal time. For example: if your child is in first grade but you also have an 8th grade student, both students can be picked up at 4:00 p.m. If your child is in Kindergarten but you do not have any older children, your child must be picked up at their 3:25 p.m. dismissal time.
Note: Students of any age should NOT be dropped off at the Church, playground, or chapel and allowed to walk to school by themselves. Only students who live within a 1 mile radius of the school – and have a release form already on file – are allowed to walk or bike to school unaccompanied. (Release forms must be signed and dated for each school year) Nor will students be released to walk to the chapel, church, or playground. Students MUST be dropped off and/or picked up by an adult and cannot be released to another student who may be walking or biking home.
