Sister Anna Monica Suong Tran, OP is a professed member of the Dominican Sisters of Mary Immaculate Province. After hearing God’s call, her heart leapt for joy, and she entered the convent in 1993. Four years later, Sister made first profession of religious life. Since 1996, Sr. Anna Monica has had many opportunities to teach sacrament classes such as First Holy Communion and Confirmation, as well as being involved with the Eucharistic Youth Group. In 2010, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Houston-Downtown. For ten years, Sr. Anna Monica worked in finance at Mary Immaculate Preschool during the week and taught religious classes during the weekend. She is very happy with the teaching ministry because she talks both to God and about God. Sister considers it a blessing and joy to live in the Lord’s house with her Dominican Sisters. Sr. Anna Monica celebrated her 25th Jubilee of Religious Profession in 2022.
