I hail from Pensacola, Florida. I attended a classical high school where I graduated as Valedictorian and a National Merit Scholar. At Hillsdale College, I earned my Bachelor of Arts and was chosen as the Outstanding Senior Woman. I have taught Latin, Greek, English, and Mathematics at classical schools for six years and am pursuing graduate studies at the University of Dallas.
Classical education holds a special place in my heart because it brought me closer to the Catholic faith. At my alma mater, I read such authors as Boethius, Dante, and Saint Augustine, which led me to enter the Catholic Church in Easter of 2016 under the patronage of Saint Monica. I believe a classical Catholic education is the highest achievement of Western civilization.
My teaching motto is Nascantur in admiratione: Let them be born in wonder. As a teacher at Saint Theresa Catholic School, I hope to inspire wonder, reverence, and humility in my students by modeling these virtues in the classroom.
