I graduated in May from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy with minors in Classical Languages and Theology. At UST, I participated in the Honors Program, benefitted from short-term study abroad programs to the Holy Land and Rome, and taught Latin to homeschoolers. Born and raised in New Mexico—the Land of Enchantment—I have fond memories of eating green chile with my family. In my youth, I played basketball on a homeschool team from 7th grade through high school, and also played chess, competing in tournaments and team meets.
I was homeschooled from kindergarten through 12th grade according to a classical Catholic curriculum that enabled me to develop many interests while delving into the richness of the Catholic Tradition.
I am very much looking forward to teaching at Saint Theresa Catholic School. I am excited to help foster students’ love for learning and I also want to help them cultivate, deepen, and refine the gifts that were given to them by God.
