Mrs. Lucy Hansen graduated from Thomas Aquinas College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts. During her time at St. Thomas Aquinas College, Mrs. Hansen discovered her desire to teach. She was blessed with the chance to read great books, engage in lively discussions, and start becoming a lifelong learner. Taking inspiration from her college professors, men and women who modeled “faith seeking understanding,” Mrs. Hansen hopes to encourage her students to embrace faith and reason wholeheartedly at an elementary level.
Upon receiving her degree, Mrs. Hansen moved back to her home state of Arizona where she has spent the past two years teaching fourth grade at a classical charter school. She has nothing but good things to say about the classical curriculum and was delighted to discover that Saint Theresa Catholic School has a very similar curriculum and is Catholic! Mrs. Hansen is looking forward to guiding her students as they grow both in academics and in faith.
A recent transplant from Arizona to Texas, Mrs. Hansen is excited to experience all her new state has to offer and get to know the STCS community. In her free time Mrs. Hansen enjoys reading, talking with family, and anything that gets her outside in the sun.
