I was born in Texas but grew up in Maine. I received my bachelor’s degree in international studies with a concentration in history from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. While I attended college, I had participated in sports by running for the UMPI Owls cross country team. Academically, I served as the historian for the National Honor Society. Since then, I have had the privilege to teach children of all ages in science based programs at a local nature center. I have also had the privilege of teaching in Catholic schools as a kindergarten aide to first and third graders. Through my teaching and understanding about our faith, I have received my Faith Formation Certificate and Catechist Certification from the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
At Saint Theresa Catholic School, we give our students the ability to become well rounded individuals and independent thinkers through our fine arts program, foreign languages, history and core academic studies. Students are able to grow in the love of Christ by becoming active participants in mass and by learning about Catholic virtues. In my class, students will recite poetry from Robert Frost and other renowned poets.
I am truly blessed be part of Saint Theresa Catholic School and look forward to teaching your child.
