Prior to college, I attended Saint Agnes Academy in Houston. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature with a minor in Women’s Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans. As an undergraduate, I served as resident assistant on campus for two years, managing and mentoring up to fifty college students at a time. Outside of school, I spent time working with young children as a private tutor.
Upon returning to Texas after college, I realized I wanted to pursue a career in education because I loved learning and working with children. I have worked with students ranging from Pre-K through Grade 8 as a substitute teacher and as an assistant in a before-and-after school program. I am currently completing my alternative teaching certification to become a fully licensed teacher.
An avid art lover, I enjoy adding to my ever-growing record collection and dabbling in darkroom and digital photography. I thoroughly enjoy teaching at Saint Theresa Catholic School and feel very blessed for the opportunity to cultivate young minds and hearts as they grow in knowledge and faith.
