I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. In fact, I am a sixth generation Texan! Before earning my RN degree from San Jacinto College in Houston, I attended the University of Texas and Austin Community College for Nursing.
I have a strong background in nursing from medical-surgical to Emergency Room care. I even worked as a Certified Paramedic when the City of Austin started Austin Emergency Medical Service in 1976. I was the School Nurse at Saint Laurence Catholic School for ten years. Since then, I have served as a substitute nurse both there and here at STCS.
I am married with three adult children and have been a parishioner of Saint Laurence Parish for 25 years. Joining the Saint Theresa staff in a regular role is an exciting adventure for me. I look forward to meeting our school families and caring for all of our children.
