I grew up in the suburbs of Dallas. I completed my undergraduate studies in 2017 at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas where I earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Theology and Evangelization and Catechesis.
I have experience as a substitute teacher, serving grades pre-Kindergarten through 12 in both public and Catholic schools. I was also the Assistant Director of After-School Enrichment at St. Benedict’s Catholic School in Atchison. After serving at those positions, I chose to be a missionary with NET Ministries for a year. I was stationed at Providence Academy, a private college k-12 preparatory school in Plymouth, Minnesota during my missionary work.
I enjoy reading, singing, and laughing at the randomness of the human experience. I am so grateful to begin my teaching career at Saint Theresa Catholic School, as I am a major advocate of the Christian formation that comes with authentic classical education. I aim to have students master and own the content of curriculum for themselves, while recognizing that the content is not just a group of subjects in a classroom, but truths to be engaged with wonder. I am also looking forward to meeting the parents of my students. Please never hesitate in reaching out to me with any questions or concerns that you may ever have!
