I was born and raised in Texas. I went to Houston Baptist University where I started out as a nursing major and then switched to education. I soon realized I made the right decision because of my love of learning. I have taught for over 20 years in both private and public schools. I have a daughter who is 26. I have traveled to various states in the United States and lived in North Carolina and Baltimore while my husband served in the Marine Corps. I very much enjoy traveling, most recently by cruising in the Western Caribbean.
Teaching has always been my passion. I regard it as a special joy to teach in a Catholic School. I love Saint Theresa Catholic School because of the structure and the values we teach our students. I love the children here, and my colleagues are just as special to me. I believe our true identity together is as a community made in the image of God. I find great joy and peace being here at Saint Theresa Catholic School teaching preschoolers.
