I earned a bachelor’s degree at Texas Tech University studying psychology and communication. Thereafter, I attended the University of Dallas to study early childhood education. I grew up attending Catholic schools in Dallas from kindergarten through 12th grade, and those rich and wonderful experiences have inspired my desire to teach in a Catholic learning environment. I am deeply grateful that I was formed by an education focused on the whole child – in body, mind, heart, and spirit.
I began my teaching career at Christ the King in the heart of Dallas and taught there for five years. I have a lot of varied experience as an instructor, and have served as a kindergarten aide, art teacher, and a developmental kindergarten teacher for two years. I am experienced preparing students for P.S.I.A. competition and at developing curriculum standards.
I very much want to be part of Saint Theresa Catholic School because I see it as a place where God, virtue, and the development of character are studied as mutually reinforcing. I look forward to placing my talents in service to our fourth grade students and their families.
