Field Day – Kempner Field

Students particpate in our annual Field Day!  Kinder – 8th grade will parade from the school to Kempner Field, on the corner of 7th and Wood streets behind the school.  They will compete in a variety of fun, physical, activities.  They will then walk back to the school and enjoy snow cones provided by Kona Ice.  Students will dismiss from the front of the school at 12:00 p.m. from the front of the school as per our usual early dismissal protocol.

For the safety and security of all students, faculty, and staff, there will be NO DISMISSAL from Kempner field.  Additionally, please do not come into the school office prior to noon dismissal to check students out early unless there is an emergency.  It is a chaotic day and attempting to locate and remove a child from their class during activities puts an additional unneccessary burden on front office staff and teachers and typically results in a very unhappy student.
