Field Day

Field Day events for Kindergarten through 8th grade held at Kempner field on the corner of 7th and Wood St.  PreK field day held in the school gym.  Events begin at 8:15 a.m. and will end at approximately 11:00 a.m.  For safety and security students may not be checked out early from Kempner field.  All classes will walk together back from Kempner field and students dismissing early may be signed out in the front office.

Students should wear athletic wear including tennis shoes that they can run in (these will get muddy), knee length basketball shorts for both girls and boys, t-shirts.  No tank tops, leggings, yoga pants, short shorts, or jeans.

T-shirts will be available for purchase a few weeks before the event and will be sent home with students the week of.  Purchases for these t-shirts must be made in advance and sent in by the date due.  Students may also wear past years’ field day shirts, spirit wear shirts, or plain colored t-shirts with no advertising or logos.
